  1. Raise Community & Organizational Awareness of the need for Opioid Management
  2. Create CDC QI Opioid Collaborative Dashboard
  3. Have all providers signed up for e-prescribing for Schedule II – V
  4. Establish and Refine Opioid Prescribing Policy
  5. Monitor PDMP Review Patterns
  6. Monitor Controlled Substance Prescribing Patterns

1. Decrease Opioid prescribing volumes at Owensboro Health
a. Need trend data from last 6 -12 month
b. Each clinic should have individual goal that contributes to the larger goal

Step 4 of the QI is to define system goals. Round 1 of the goals are considered more process driven goals. Round 2 will include data driven goals based on baseline data analysis.
